Mamma Mia inspired 70's Boho Elopement
Updated: May 29, 2020

I have always had a love for vintage hippie style and all things 70s. The clothes, the music, the free spirit vibe. I’d say I was born in the wrong decade for sure. This month I finally got to put my passion for the 70s to work with this amazing Mamma Mia inspired 70s boho elopement. It was an exquisite representation of 70s fashion with a bit of Mamma Mia flair. The bride wore a sensational fitted gown by Megan Kelly Designs. It was complete with ivory stretch lace, scalloped lace showing perfect peeks of skin, and the most amazing bell sleeves, giving us all the Donna and the Dynamos feels. Megan Oliveri styled the brides hair with an elaborate side braid and alluring floral detail. To complete the bridal look she wore royal blue sling black heels by Shoeland. The perfect Amazon find.

The groom wore tan linen pants with a white button down shirt. The couple was a spitting image of Sky and Sophie. Pretty Words by Erin took the invitation suite to the next level with heavenly color swatch detail and Vellum overlay. She went above and beyond with the Mamma Mia theme. I mean, check out that wedding hashtag and website! The flowers from Vintage Soul Floral Designs were to die for. With coral peonies, several various colors and types of roses, yellow oncidium orchids, local zinnia, celosia, three colors of

stock, peach ranunculus, and loads of greenery. It was a floral explosion in the best way possible. The brightly colored flowers were the perfect addition to the teal blue Mamma Mia color palette. Vintage Chic Rentals and Designs provided the perfect table setting to complement the florals, with mixed match floral plates, brightly colored glassware, and stunning glass bottles. The terra-cotta pottery added the perfect touch of Greece to this Carolina waterfront wedding. The stained glass cake from Celestial Cakery was a beautiful blend of blues, adorned with fruits and florals. To say I am obsessed with these photographs would be an understatement. It is so rewarding when a plan comes together. I am beyond grateful to get to work with such amazing talent.
