Dreamy Spring Elopement {Styled Wedding}

In March, I had the privilege of photographing this charming styled shoot hosted by my

sister and fellow photographer, Sydney Bien-aime. It was a dreamy dedication to spring, overflowing with luscious florals, incredible desserts, and complementing shades of living coral and periwinkle blue. This romantic elopement inspired shoot had scores of fresh style that made you fall in love with spring time. You would never know there was a monsoon right outside the window. Like every bride will learn, not everything goes 100% according to plan, and you have to be able to take a step back and adapt. That is exactly what this awesome team of professionals did. For this shoot, we brought the outdoors in by filling this stunning bridal suite at Carolina Country Weddings with brilliant pink and blush blooms, heaps of coral poppies, and perfect pops of periwinkle. Wedding with Barbara, the florist, did not disappoint. The flower arrangements were immaculate, and gave this styled session exactly what it needed.

The dress, by Megan Kelly Designs, was truly sensational with its unique 3D floral design adorned with pearl and lace detail. The low back gown was striking on Elle, showing off her gorgeous floral tattoos. The groom wore an elegant ivory bow tie with a coral flower pattern that coordinated impeccably with the ivory gown. The incredible blue drip cake and gold speckled buttercream macarons were handmade by the bride herself, who owns Baked Well, a custom bakery in Matthews, NC. Heather, with The Whimsical Rose, styled these desserts marvelously with pretty coral, gold, and pink details for the table scape. To end the day, we surrounded the bride with piles of flowers for some soft stunning portraits. I had such a blast working on this project.
