It was such an honor capturing these moments for the McKenzie Family! I met Rachel and Kevin back in 2021 when the booked me to capture their wedding. I got to take their engagement pictures in Greenville where I met them for the first time. Fast forward a few months when I found out I was pregnant and due just 4 days after their March 2022 wedding. They trusted the process and I was able to edit their beautiful wedding.

due date was March 31, 2023 (exactly

a year after mine!) Miss Mabel made her debut on time, Ava Jane had other plans. Rachel (and Kevin) went to OB triage with a headache on February 21, 2023 and left with a child!

5lbs 11oz and 18 inches at 6 WEEKS EARLY! She was the biggest baby in the NICU. Luckily everything with miss Ava was perfect and they McKenzie's had a short stay and were able to return home March 7, 2023. Less than a week later they invited me into their home to photograph this sweet girl!

I love love love in home sessions. This is a time that will fly by for you and looking back on this time, the memories are tinged with a sleep deprived haze! Having photographs of these moments are so important and I am always honored to be the one to capture them.
